Incidents on walks are rare

If an incident or near miss does occurs on your walk, make sure you make a note of the name and contact details of the injured person and/or any witnesses. You will need to report the incident using the following process.

  2. You will need the name and contact details of the injured walker and any witnesses.
  3. Complete an Incident Report Form as soon as possible, and within 24hrs if it’s a serious incident. The link for the form can be found here file:///C:/Users/User/Downloads/Incident-Report-Form.pdf (or you’ll find it under Walk Leader tab on the ECR website) or ECR Chair can provide it.

To complete the form:

  • Open the incident report form

Our Ramblers Wellbeing Walks are weekly, social, short walks for beginners, available in Crewe and Macclesfield for residents. Our walks are the perfect opportunity to get out, increase your activity levels and socialise in a safe environment.

The Ramblers (or affiliated members) generate funds from Ramble Worldwide (formerly Ramblers Walking Holidays) bookings through partnership agreements, specifically receiving donations of £10 per passenger or up to £500 per group booking when users quote a specific code (e.g., RW24). This is in addition to direct discounts for the traveller, effectively acting as a charitable donation mechanism from the travel partner to the Ramblers.
