🚶 Our walks need leaders. Could you help inspire the next adventure?

The fantastic walks enjoyed by our members are made possible by volunteers who give their time to lead them.

We’re always looking for enthusiastic members who would like to help lead walks and inspire others to enjoy the outdoors.

As a Walk Leader you’ll:
🥾 Gain new skills and confidence
🧭 Develop navigation and leadership experience
🤝 Meet like-minded people
🌄 Help others discover fantastic places to walk

Full training and support are provided, and you don’t need to be an expert to get started.

Our Ramblers Wellbeing Walks are weekly, social, short walks for beginners, available in Crewe and Macclesfield for residents. Our walks are the perfect opportunity to get out, increase your activity levels and socialise in a safe environment. 

The Ramblers (or affiliated members) generate funds from Ramble Worldwide (formerly Ramblers Walking Holidays) bookings through partnership agreements, specifically receiving donations of £10 per passenger or up to £500 per group booking when users quote a specific code (e.g., RW24). This is in addition to direct discounts for the traveller, effectively acting as a charitable donation mechanism from the travel partner to the Ramblers.
